What is birth if not the beginning of two new humans? One just born into this world, the other whose entire identity has shifted in an instant.

Doula originates from a greek word for servant. In keeping with the etymology, I chose a Greek word that just so happens to also pay homage to my sweet son and inspiration for this work, Archie.
